Treasures

Has the hot days of summer slowly slip by, some of us are getting our kids ready for the coming school year. Lets that a moment to think of the treasures that they are.

They are the next generation. Should we not prepare our kids with everything that they will need. Lets not forget also that it is not just the pencils, paper, glue, notebooks, and lunches that they will need.

They will need our time to help with homework projects and please remember the teachers that also give their time to teach them. Most of us have heard "you get what you pay for" and that also means what we give to our kids. Take the time to reach out and see what they are doing and be proud of the work. I know many parents have drawing that paper their refrigerators. Even if they are not the best tell them how very proud you are of their work. They grow up so fast, before you know it they will not have the time for you. So take the time to read. listen and always plenty of hugs. The dishes can wait the clothes can wait. We only have a few moments when they need us, before they are grown and on their own.
